Pate and Juniper land stars galore at UK’s foodie Oscars

It’s time for a little party here at Lambton & Jackson after we picked up four glittering stars at this year’s Great Taste Awards. A one pot wonder of deliciousness, our smoked salmon pate received two gold stars as did our Juniper smoked salmon which judges described as “astoundingly delicious.”

Dubbed the ‘Oscars’ of the food & drink world, the Great Taste accreditation scheme allows food and drink producers to put their products to the test with a panel of more than 500 experts who include chefs, restaurateurs and food writers.

Every year, some 14,000 products from more than 100 countries are entered into the competition. Only a minority (less than 10%) will get two stars which in the words of organisers are reserved for products that are “above and beyond delicious.”

So we’re absolutely thrilled both our Juniper smoked salmon and smoked salmon pate have received such glorious recognition. Now it’s just a case of opening a bottle or two of champagne in celebration with the smokehouse team, served naturally alongside copious canapes of smoked salmon pate and Juniper smoked salmon.
